School Uniform

Carrigaline Community School seeks your co-operation in ensuring that full, official school uniform, outlined below, is worn by all students.

Uniform Details

  • Jumper: Wine with stripe on cuff, ‘v’ neck and crest (Shandon) 
  • Shirt: Blue (Hunter Denim)
  • Trousers: Hunter grey pants (boys and girls)
  • Skirt: Grey side pleat; A line – worn with plain black tights only.  Other styles are not acceptable
  • Tie: Official school tie to be worn at all times
  • Shoes: Plain black shoes (including black soles), no markings or logos. White soles not acceptable

  • One of the following must be purchased: 

    • School jacket with CCS crest 
    • School fleece navy – does NOT replace the jumper

  • Please note that non-school jackets / fleeces / hoodies may not be worn about the building

  • School Tracksuit  (may be worn on the day on which PE is timetabled)
    • Tracksuit pants with CCS logo on leg  
    • CCS polo shirt with CCS logo       
    • Half-zip CCS sweatshirt with CCS logo  
    • An optional school PE training top, and some other items of sports gear, can also be purchased via the Masita Online Shop here .
       

Guidelines for the wearing of School Uniform

  • Full uniform must be worn appropriately on all school days
  • Unofficial replacement items are not acceptable
  • The following items of clothing and footwear are not acceptable
    • Hoodies, football jerseys, Ugg or Ugg-style boots, heels
  • For P.E. classes students must wear the official school tracksuit and appropriate footwear
    • The following items of clothing and footwear are not acceptable: hoodies, football jerseys, canvas shoes, Ugg or Ugg-style boots

 

It is very important that all incoming First Years or students transferring into CCS call in  to see our supplier with a view to securing a uniform pack and ascertaining correct sizes etc. This would need to be in place before the end of July.
