This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and to support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.

This funding was used to support learners at risk of educational disadvantage due to a digital divide and who required access to ICT infrastructure to engage with learning both inside and outside of the classroom. We purchased a suite of chromebooks which were then presented to those most at need financially, to insure their continued engagement with education. Some of the beneficiaries included students from highly disadvantaged backgrounds and students holding refugee status.
