Carrigaline Community School, founded in 1981, has been at the centre of life in our community for over three decades. We aim to provide a high quality comprehensive education which caters for the diverse skills and aptitudes of our school community.

Carrigaline Community School: Our School Campus
The outcome of the recent multi-million Euro development of our school campus is now apparent for all to see and experience at CCS. During 2014, refurbishment of much of our existing building, accompanied by the construction of a major three storey extension, Engineering Block, purpose build ASD Resource Centre and state of the art Physical Education Hall and Fitness Suite has enabled Carrigaline Community School to enhance still further the excellent education provision for the community of Carrigaline.
The initial school, constructed in 1981 catered for 810 students. The redeveloped campus enables the school to continue to provide a quality education for 1200 day students, in addition to offering comprehensive adult and continuing education to the community at large.
Our non-selective, inclusive school will continue to provide a top quality education across the campus. In addition to our existing refurbished facilities, our new development features: much enlarged, new social areas and circulation spaces, an additional fourteen ICT equipped general purpose classrooms, three new ICT Centres, three new Science Laboratories and associated preparation areas, a new Engineering Block, as well as first class social studies and career guidance facilities and administration and pastoral offices. Our proud sporting and extra-curricular tradition will continue to thrive with our redeveloped full-size pitches.
Our new campus enables us to continue to be the leading provider of education in our community.
