Log on Learn
Log on Learn is a great activity in Carrigaline Community School which aims to help the elderly people of Carrigaline in the use of computers. This activity is available to a small number of Transition year students who are assigned a “buddy” who for a number of weeks are students. The Transition year students help their buddies to learn how to use the basics in computers in a number of weeks. This activity aims to help the community and educate the elderly as well as give our students a chance to become the teacher and develop skills in both computer use and in communication.
