Notice to parents of 3rd students regarding attendance around practical exams.

Dear parent / guardian, 

 

As you are aware practical state exams will be ongoing over the coming weeks. It is imperative that students return to class after the practical has been completed. In recent days we have noticed a high volume of students signing out after practical exams. This practice is highly discouraged by the school as valuable class time is being missed.

 

In addition we would ask that all appointments be scheduled outside of the school day for the remaining weeks of term. Course work is still being covered and essential revision is ongoing. Poor attendance at this crucial time may well have a negative impact on Junior Cert results.
