TY Students Search Google!
40 Transition Year students visited Google Headquarters in Dublin on March 31st, accompanied by their teachers, Ms. McHugh, Ms. Buckley and Mr. Corbett. They experienced for themselves what it was like to work in this unique environment, sampling the music room, playground and Google visualisers (the underwater turtle was a big hit!), among others.
Our students also made a very positive impression on their hosts, as outlined by Google’s Rob Creagh:
Thanks again for organising the trip up today and thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. Yet again, the students were an absolute credit to your school. I had a different group of people helping out today, but similar to the last visit, they really couldn’t get over how well behaved and engaged the students were. The only regret any of our team had was that we didn’t have more time to show more of the building, or do more activities with the students. I honestly wonder if we have more fun than the students during these visits! 🙂
Well done to all involved.
