Log on Learn 2012 – Another Successful Term
Another successful term for the Log on Learn initiative at Carrigaline Community School came to an end with the presentation of certificates to participants on Monday 3rd December 2012.
Log On, Learn, which has been running in the school for the past 3 years, is an easy way to learn how to use computers. The programme is designed to ‘buddy up’ transition-year students with an older person from their local community to share skills with each other. The one to one nature of learning means that older people can learn about computers at their own pace.
Lessons took place in one of our computer rooms with the focus on fun, sharing skills, stories and learning for life.
