Young Scientist Success 2012
Congratulations to Abdullah Mohammad, 5th Year, who won the Marie Keating Foundation Special Award and achieved 3rd prize in the Technology Senior Individual section of this year’s BT Young Scientist Awards with his project called ‘Cancer Virotherapy Simulator’.
Congratulations also to Transition Year students Cormac Hickey, Niamh O’Mullane and Eoin O’Connor who achieved a Highly Commended award for their project entitled ‘What puts the power in “power balance” wrist bands?’. Well done to all students involved and a special thank you to teachers Ms. Jennifer Godsell and Mr. Ronan Neville for their guidance and support.
